The myfoodbook concept launched in 2012 creating a new digital environment for brands to connect with consumers, and in turn for consumers to engage with brands through the creation of personalised cookbooks.
The idea was embraced early with more than 5.5 million branded recipe engagements in less than 20 months. With strong support for the concept, and with the digital world quickly changing consumer habits, myfoodbook engaged Optimo Designs to not only enhance the design of the myfoodbook website, but to also grow engagement pathways between food brands and consumers who love to cook.
Optimo Designs worked with the myfoodbook team to create improvements on the existing successful platform, modernise the design of the website, and repackage the cookbook product to deliver an instant organising solution for consumers.
The outcome for our Recipe Partners is a premium environment to showcase recipes where consumers easily connect with brands, actively seek out products to replicate recipes, and save their favourite recipes in an organised online, ebook and soon to be iPad and iPhone cookbook product.
For consumers, the showcase of recipes is an ongoing source of inspiration and the enjoyment of viewing and saving comes with big, beautiful food images, easy to read content, and an easy to use website. Seasonal cookbooks and promotions continually feed the cooks’ passions as the entire site delivers cooking and food promotion in an environment that is not cluttered with animation, too many brands, or insurance ads!
The team at Optimo immersed themselves in the myfoodbook relaunch project. They understand consumer behaviours, the agenda of Brands and what connects the two. Combined with an energetic, collaborative approach to working with the myfoodbook team we couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome of the project… and we’ve only just rolled out the first phase!
